Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this classic cottage from yesteryear - an example of lake front lodging at its best. Full sun all day and views of Mount Sunapee from dawn to dusk. Family-friendly property includes use of canoe, paddleboat, swimming from 30 ft dock, relaxing on the screen porch, reading on upper and lower decks, early morning canoe rides, exploring the island. Great Island where there are approximately 25 summer residences is not accessible by car, so you must have your own boat (rentals are available). Approximately 10 - 15 minutes away at Burkhaven Marina, there is an assigned boat slip. Parking for car(s) and boat trailer is "catch-as-catch-can" along the street. NOTE: The boathouse is a separate property its use is not included. |
