Lake Sunapee has been
a popular vacation destination since the mid-19th century. Here summer visitors,
having arrived by train at Lake Station, are being met by one of the steam
powered boats to be taken to one of several landings around the lake. (Compliments
of Ron Garceau Collection).
Sadly, the steamboats and railroad are gone!! though much of the nostalgia remains.
